Discrimination Victims to be Featured on National Press Club Panel About Being Openly Secular

Mother of Three Struggling to Overcome Prejudice; Daughter Physically Assaulted

Washington, DC – A mother whose six-year-old daughter has been physically assaulted because of the family’s atheism will be one of the featured guests on a panel this Wednesday, June 11th at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Partner organizations within the new Openly Secular coalition will share research into the lives of non-religious Americans and findings of the discrimination and mistreatment that goes on nearly unnoticed by most people who do not identify as secular.
