Marilee Harrison – Openly Secular

Marilee organizes the Santa Fe Community of Atheists and helps coordinate the New Mexico Coalition of Reason. She grew up with a mix of religious traditions, but struggled to reconcile her beliefs with the questions she held. Once she was exposed to those with different beliefs and life experiences and furthered her education, she embraced her identity as an atheist and became a Humanist Celebrant. Although one of her brothers and his entire side of the family no longer speaks to her, she continues to be Openly Secular!
